Genitti’s Hole-In-the-Wall: A Cozy Italian Experience in Northville

We came to the dinner theater show of “Dying for a drink”. It was a family birthday celebration and there was nine of us and we had no idea what we were in for. The place was loud and high energy until the food came out. The meal was good and filling. My personal favorites were the garlic breadsticks, the antipasto salad and the Italian sausage with peppers and onions. And then the fun began…. The show was MC-ed by a very jovial man who delivered a monologue of dad jokes and a few other more with a little edge to them. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the show was very witty and funny. The cast all had a great sense for improvisation. The way they incorporated the audience into the show was outstanding. I honestly thought it was going to be a boring “who done it”, but I could not have been happier with the way our evening went. The staff were kind and attentive and I highly recommend this show.

We had the BEST time celebrating my daughter’s birthday on Feb 28. We did dinner and the theater show. Food was very good, served family style. The dinner show was so good and sooooo darn funny, I couldn’t stop laughing. The “bartender” got the whole group started off when he came into the dining area and introduced himself and explained how things go! If you have a bucket list, this needs to be on it. “Dying for a Drink” was so funny!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone celebrating anything!!! Totally awesome!!’

Amazing time. Show was hilarious and the food was stellar. I am a vegetarian and I have never been to a place that was so accommodating. They brought me my own personalized dishes to make sure I ate good food when the meat was served. It was actually unbelievable how good they were to me!

We had our wedding shower at Genitti's and it was absolutely amazing. Let me start by saying - I was fully unprepared. They have you bring everything the day before and they do all the set up for you before you arrive. I did not plan accordingly and didn't bring everything but they were so nice about it and were very accommodating. When I walked into the room for the shower, everything was BEAUTIFUL. They did such a wonderful job putting the space together, it was more than I could have ever imagined. They even switched out the photos they have on the walls to match our theme. The price was incredible too - when I told my dad how much he spent on food and passed mimosas for 40ish people, he was floored that it was so reasonable for how beautiful it was and how much food we received. The staff and service was also exceptional. They are a well oiled machine there and you can tell. All of our friends and family raved about how great the shower was. Highly recommend choosing Genitti's to host an important life event!!

My friend had her wedding shower here. It was beautifully set up. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious. The pricing was extremely fair for how much they offered. I have no complaints and highly recommend choosing Genitti's for events.

I had an amazing experience at Genitti’s! The food was incredible — their cannolis and brownies are honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. The interactive Christmas show was outstanding and absolutely hilarious. The ambience is beautiful and welcoming, and everyone who works there (including the owners) was so friendly and kind. One unique thing I loved is that guests can sign their names on the walls inside — it adds so much character and charm to the place. I had an unforgettable time and I’m already looking forward to going back. Highly recommend!

I was happy to hear the venue provides vegan options for our party. I was worried about being limited to just a salad and pasta with red sauce. I did appreciate having more substantial options like the white bean soup and having sides of green beans and potatoes. I didn't leave hungry nor disappointed with what I got, though could be more creative. I did email my concerns about having a meal without enough protein and didn't get a response back before I went, so I didn't have high expectations. I think there's room for improvement with options and the service in emails, but the quality of the food is there, the server was kind to us, and the inside was cozy too.

I’ve been meaning to write this for a while! I hosted my sister’s baby shower here and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The venue was affordable, the staff was wonderful to work with, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Not to mention they have some of the best food around!
